Summer is here! I don’t know about you, but when the weather starts to heat up, I feel like ditching the heavier foods, and I start craving foods and drinks that are light and refreshing. What could be more light and refreshing than this watermelon blueberry water? It’s pretty to look at, easy to make, and makes the perfect summertime beverage.
To make infused water, you can really use any fruit you’d like. Since I tend to have some issues with certain fruits (I assume because of the acidity), I decided to choose fruits that leave me feeling well and don’t trigger any acid reflux. Watermelon and blueberries were the perfect solution, plus the red and blue colors create a festive patriotic theme just in time for the 4th of July!
A Refreshing Beverage for 4th of July and Summer Parties
Sweetened by fruit with a hint of mint, this watermelon blueberry water is naturally Paleo and vegan: a healthy treat that will hit the spot on a warm summer day. Of course, after you drink your watermelon blueberry water, you’ll have a delicious fruit snack waiting for you at the bottom of your glass. Need I say more?
For large group or party, you can make this watermelon blueberry water in a large pitcher, jug, or beverage dispenser. Or for a smaller group, using individual glasses or mason jars is also super cute. This fruit infused water is the perfect compliment to your 4th of July party or any summertime celebration.
