The weather’s starting to heat up, so it’s the perfect time to start enjoying some refreshing Paleo summer salads!
Not only are salads easy to prepare, but they can be far more that just a pile of greens (not that there’s anything wrong with a pile of greens). There are plenty of other ingredients that can make up a flavorful, interesting salad. Plus, salads are a great way to get a wide variety of (mostly) raw foods into your diet.
There are so many Paleo summer salad recipes to choose from, but I chose a few of my favorites here. As you see, I have a weakness for anything sweet in my salads — because, in my opinion, a sweet and savory combo often equates to a tastebud symphony dancing on the tongue — so you’ll see a lot of fruit represented on this list (yum!).
Of course, these Paleo summer salad recipes can be used simply for inspiration, especially if you don’t have all the ingredients readily available in your fridge or pantry. It’s so easy to be creative and put your own spin on them.
